Thomson Elementary School provides a rigorous and multicultural environment, specifically designed to cultivate global citizens who possess a strong sense of inquiry. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, its educational framework promotes critical thinking, international-mindedness, and a holistic approach to learning across all subjects. Beyond the comprehensive IB curriculum, students engage in a variety of enrichment opportunities, including DC Scores and Poetry, Junior Tennis, and Jumpstart, further broadening their experiences. The school operates from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with a uniform required for all students. Families residing within the school's boundary who have a sibling currently attending or offered admission receive priority in the lottery process, strengthening neighborhood ties. Thomson cultivates well-rounded learners prepared for future challenges.
