Turner Elementary School prepares students for academic success, striving to facilitate a love for learning and discovery. The school offers a robust curriculum that includes Arts Integration, fostering creativity alongside academics, and Blended Learning, which utilizes technology to personalize instruction. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Turner develops inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people. Beyond the classroom, students can engage in diverse enrichment activities such as DC Scores Soccer & Poetry, Orchestra, Basketball, and Flag Football. The school operates from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and a uniform is required. Families residing in-boundary with a sibling already attending or offered admission receive lottery priority.
