Washington School for Girls - The VIEW Campus is a private, all-girls school serving grades 3 to 5 at 1604 Morris Road SE in Anacostia, Ward 8. The VIEW Campus is one of two Washington School for Girls campuses; the school's tagline emphasizes academic excellence, leadership, and faith-based education for girls in underserved DC neighborhoods.

Mission

Washington School for Girls (WSG) was founded to provide rigorous private-school education to girls in Wards 7 and 8 — the parts of DC historically least served by quality private school options. Tuition is heavily subsidized through scholarships funded by donors, foundations, and the Archdiocese / Catholic Charities partnerships, making WSG accessible to families who could not otherwise pay private-school tuition.

Two-campus model

• The VIEW Campus (grades 3 to 5) at 1604 Morris Road SE
• The THEARC Campus (grades 6 to 8) at the Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus in Ward 8

A WSG student typically enters at 3rd grade and continues through 8th grade across the two campuses.
