Seaton Elementary School, located in the historic Shaw neighborhood, serves an extremely diverse, multicultural staff and student population. The school implements a Blended Learning program, integrating technology and personalized instruction into the curriculum. Beyond standard academics, students can participate in several enrichment opportunities such as DC Scores, the Embassy Adoption Program, Girls on the Run, and Battle of the Books, fostering a wide range of interests. The school day operates from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and a uniform is required for all students. For families applying through the lottery, priority is granted to those in-boundary with a sibling currently attending or with a sibling offered a space.
