Smothers Elementary School places the highest priority on reading, writing, and math instruction to ensure that its students acquire the foundational skills needed for ongoing academic and personal success. The school offers comprehensive programs including Arts Integration, which embeds creative expression into the curriculum, and Blended Learning, providing personalized instruction through technology. A Restorative Justice Program promotes a positive and inclusive school environment. Students benefit from enrichment activities such as STEAM initiatives and direct support from Literacy Lab Tutors for PreK through 3rd grade, reinforcing early literacy through methods like Fundations. School hours are 8:20 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and a uniform is required. Lottery priority is extended to in-boundary students with a sibling currently attending or a sibling offered admission.
