About the School

The first day of school is August 25 (K-5) and August 28 (PK3-4)! Important information: · Required Student Supplies: Each child needs to have the following labeled personal materials on the first day of school: · Student Activity Fee: The elementary Student Activity Fee* for the 2024-2025 school year is $160. This fee supports student activities and programming including: First Semester Field Trips ($70), classroom supplies ($54); FoodPrints Gardening, Cooking, and Nutrition Program ($30); Library Resources ($3); and World Language Journals ($3).  Any left-over amounts to the First Semester Field Trip fee will be applied to 2 nd Semester Field Trips. * The Student Activity Fee can be paid with cash, check or money order.  Checks and money orders are payable to “ Friends of SWS. ” Arrangements can be made to pay the Student Activity Fee in multiple installments if needed.  There is a $20.00 charge for any check returned by the bank.
