Military Road Early Learning Center is the second DCPS standalone early childhood school, located at the historic Military Road School. This citywide institution provides comprehensive early childhood education, specifically structured to support foundational learning and development in young children. Its identity as a standalone center allows for a singular focus on the unique needs of early learners. The curriculum is tailored for them, fostering essential skills and preparing children for future academic steps within a specialized environment. The school operates from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. There is no uniform requirement, offering flexibility for families. Lottery applicants receive priority for Sibling Attending and Sibling Offered placements.
