About the School

LAMB PCS (Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School) is the only Spanish-language immersion Montessori school in D.C. and one of just a handful of such schools in the U.S. We educate PreK3 through 5th-grade students from all D.C. wards and backgrounds. LAMB is located in the Brightwood neighborhood of Washington, DC (NW, Ward 4). LAMB follows the Montessori model of mixing children who are close in age together in multi-age communities (classrooms). This structure lets students experience being part of the youngest, middle, and oldest groups in a community. Each of these experiences helps students grow. We have a program for each of the following clusters: In addition, LAMB offers a before and after-school enrichment program (BASE) for a fee.
