In-boundary Ward 5 / Eckington families guaranteed seats. Out-of-boundary applicants apply via My School DC before the late-January deadline; the Montessori strand has its own lottery preference within the school. School hours: 8:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Uniforms required.

Enrollment and demographics

Current enrollment: 64% Black/African-American, 28% Hispanic/Latino, with smaller white, Asian, and multiracial populations.
