About the School

ITDS is a student-led learning community where student voice, choice, and competence is at the core, and teaching professionals engage in ongoing, reflective, and collaborative practice. As we continue to work towards fulfilling our mission, we are proud to share our bold vision for the next five years— Our Inspired Roadmap for SY2024-2029 . At Inspired Teaching Demonstration School, we firmly believe that education is a civil right and a great equalizer that can provide opportunity and access to all students. In this Roadmap , you will see our shared and unwavering commitment to ensure that all ITDS students achieve at the highest levels; are seen, valued, and heard; and are well-prepared for learning opportunities and experiences beyond our walls. After engaging with more than 300 students, alumni, staff, and families in our strategic planning process, the Board adopted this plan , a five-year vision that names three bold goals to ensure that all ITDS students — with a focus on students who are racially marginalized and students with disabilities — have a challenging, meaningful, and joyful learning experience and: In our shared commitment to furthering our mission — to ensure that all ITDS students achieve their potential as accomplished learners, thoughtful citizens, and imaginative and inquisitive problem solvers — we will continue to reflect on our successes and challenges and seek opportunities to elevate our practice in the years to come.
