Ida B. Wells Middle School is a social justice school sharing a campus with Coolidge High School. It provides a comprehensive middle school education with a rigorous academic focus, preparing students for future success. Students benefit from innovative Blended Learning programs that personalize instruction and participate in Interscholastic Sports, building teamwork and athleticism. The school fosters a supportive and inclusive environment through its Restorative Justice Program. Enrichment opportunities extend learning through a School-wide Enrichment Model and engage students in creative and physical development with DC Scores Poetry and Soccer. The school day operates from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and a uniform is required. For admissions, lottery priority is extended to siblings currently attending or siblings offered admission.
