About the School

8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Friendship Online Academy is an online program where academics are completed in the home environment, with an adult in the home serving as the learning coach. In person triennial testing occurs 3x per year in which scholars are mandated to come into the building for state testing for a day or more. Friendship Online offers a flexible learning experience tailored to every student. Using the proven K12 curriculum, we combine virtual and in-person support from dedicated teachers. Parents and caregivers play a key role as Learning Coaches, partnering with our educators. While most learning happens online, students also participate in in-person sessions at our Nicholson Street campus and are encouraged to join field trips and family outings.
