About the School

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes elementary, middle, and high schools on their overall academic exellence or their progress in closing the achievement gap. Teachers and staff at Washington Global PCS are using research-based strategies to engage students in the social, emotional, and academic learning that happens in middle school. Washington Global was awarded the Bold Performance Schools award by EmpowerK12 in October 2022 by demonstrating PARCC proficiency rates above pre-pandemic expectations when compared to similar charter and DCPS schools. Washington Global is also the #1 standalone middle school on the Bold Performance awardee list!
