About Drew Elementary School

Drew Elementary School aims to provide quality instruction that allows each student to reach high levels of academic achievement, while also developing the whole child. The school day runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and all students are required to wear a school uniform. Drew extends learning beyond the classroom with enriching opportunities, including DC Scores for soccer and poetry, fostering physical activity and creative expression. An additional afterschool program is also available. For families applying through the lottery, Drew prioritizes in-boundary students who have a sibling already attending the school, as well as in-boundary students with a sibling who has been offered a placement. This ensures a supportive and consistent educational journey for its community members.
