District of Columbia International School (DCI) is a high-performing public charter serving over 1,600 students in grades 6-12. DCI provides a robust academic experience through specific programs like Advanced Placement courses, Career and Technical Education pathways, and Dual College Enrollment opportunities. Beyond academics, students can discover and pursue interests through more than 150 unique clubs and activities, offered during lunch and after school. Athletic involvement is also encouraged with 15 different sports fielding 48 teams across Middle School and Junior Varsity levels. The school operates Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:35 p.m., with an early dismissal at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. A school uniform is not required. Lottery priority is extended to children of staff and siblings currently attending.
