NoMa - North of Massachusetts Avenue - is one of DC's fastest-developing mixed-use districts, straddling the Ward 5/6 boundary near Union Station. One school serves the growing residential population in NoMa, with the broader Ward 5 charter network accessible via the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro station (Red line).

As NoMa's residential population grows with new apartment construction, additional school infrastructure is expected to be required. Ward 5 residents receive a priority point for Ward 5 schools in the DC lottery.
