One school serves the growing residential population in NoMa, with the broader Ward 5 charter network accessible via the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro station (Red line). As NoMa's residential population grows with new apartment construction, additional school infrastructure is expected to be required. Ward 5 residents receive a priority point for Ward 5 schools in the DC lottery.
Ward 4 families can apply to any DC public or charter school through the unified lottery. The application window opens in November at schoolchoice.dc.gov.
