National Cathedral School (girls, 4–12), St. Albans School (boys, 4–12), and Beauvoir Elementary School (PK–3) form the Cathedral Close school campus — one of the most recognizable private school complexes in the country. Annunciation Catholic School on Klingle Place adds another strong parochial option. The neighborhood attracts families seeking a school experience embedded in rich traditions, performing arts, and academic rigor. There is no Metro in Cathedral Heights, but the D2 and N2 bus lines connect to Woodley Park and downtown. Ward 3 DCPS families in Cathedral Heights are zoned for Stoddert Elementary and Deal Middle School, with Wilson Senior High School serving grades 9–12.
