Instructional Media

Dallas County Schools  Instructional Media Services (est. 1928) serves all of the 14 school districts in Dallas County, offering access to over 10,300 audio and/or video educational titles. These titles  are delivered to the schools electronically where appropriate technology exists.  Titles are correlated to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  New titles are correlated to the TEKS as they are received and are available as resources to the classrooms through www.PowerVideos.org. Searches may be done on PowerVideos.  Customized staff developments train teachers to appropriately use available media.
